Kanvis Media

He had shot work good enough for Nike. You just couldn't tell, because the only place it lived was a social feed. The clips were there, scattered across Instagram, but a feed can't tell a brand manager what she needs to know before she hires for a national campaign: who else has trusted this person, at what scale, how many times. There was no studio, only a gifted individual loosely represented by his own posts. Everything that separates a talented person from a serious operation, a name, an identity, a visible track record, a door, was missing. The talent was never the question. The evidence was.

So Kanvis Media got a self. The studio had never carried an identity of its own; it had only ever been Cameron Thomas's work, gathered loosely under a name. It was given a defined point of view, grounded momentum with intentional soul, an artist's instinct disciplined like an athlete's, made consistent enough to repeat, and a site that frames each project the way a case study does, so a decision-maker meets a track record instead of a reel. Since Kanvis got its name and its evidence, it has shot for Tommy Hilfiger, Cadillac's Formula 1 team, Virgin Voyages, and Nike, clients who were never going to stumble onto an anonymous videographer and no longer had to. The ability had always been there. What it lacked, until now, was somewhere to stand.

I'd worked with Nike, Karol G, Dave East, all of it, and had nothing to show for it. No site, no way to prove any of it. Archon built the whole thing in a week, and it finally looked like what the work actually is. Since it went up I've booked Virgin, NVIDIA, Sony, Cadillac F1.
